July 2011 Mission Trip Report

We are back from our most recent mission trip to Empalme and we had so many victories! God showed Himself mighty and so many people were blessed by Him. For this trip we partnered with Samaritan Feet,an organization located in Charlotte, NC to be able to distribute shoes to the most needy. Our evangelism team working together with the local church members washed the feet of over 500 people and placed a brand new pair of shoes in their feet. We prayed for each person individually in Spanish as we ministered the love of Christ. So many people rededicated their lives and over 50 received Jesus as their Savior. Our medical team cared for over 450 patients in the clinic and distributed over 2,000 prescriptions. Hundreds of children were loved through our VBS and sports camp. We fed all the children daily and shared with them Biblical truths. Our construction team was able to build a home for an entire family and help two others with a roof. Thanks to all of you who prayed for us and donated items towards the trip. Praise be to God always! If you would like to participate in upcoming mission trips contact us at laluzministries@ymail.com

This was an awesome trip. I encourage everyone to come and fall in love with God’s people in Nicaragua and to experience the power of God in your life. You will be changed as you serve those less fortunate.
