March 2014 Mission Trip

We had an amazing trip to Nicaragua this past week. The Lord worked in so many ways through our teams. We were able to screen women in our area for cervical cancer and HPV disease for the first time using colposcopy.
Please pray for two ladies that were diagnosed with advanced cervical cancer and will require a complete hysterectomy. We were so excited to fit 18 hearing aids and perform follow ups and new hearing screenings for dozens of others.
Our children’s team had a blast presenting God’s love to hundreds of children. They made crafts, played and learned about God’s plan of salvation.
Our surgical team performed 17 surgeries, most of them for sick gall bladders (cholecystectomies) and hernia repairs. Our construction team helped improved two homes and were able to make strong relationships in the community. In this trip we had several ladies interested in helping women feel better about themselves and they provided haircuts, manicures and pedicures to hundreds of women. It was amazing to see God loving these women through our team. We had 5 new decisions for Christ in our clinic and others rededicated their lives to the Lord.
