July 2013 mission trip to Nicaragua
La Luz de Cristo Ministries summer mission trip to Empalme de Boaco, Nicaragua. July of 2013
Our team of 30 volunteers worked in many areas in the community of Empalme de Boaco, Nicaragua. We were able to bless 5 families with improvement to their homes, provided medical care to over 700 patients, 10 deaf patients received hearing aids for the first time and dozens were screened and evaluated for hearing loss. Our surgical team performed 10 abdominal surgeries and our children’s team ran a VBS and baseball camp for hundreds of children. It was a week of miracles and of love being pour out for others.
